This archive has no affiliation with Mountain Stage, but it was assembled using information from the Mountain Stage website, the Mountain Stage Guest Artist History (“Artist History“) provided at the Mountain Stage website and from the listing of Mountain Stage podcasts available through Spotify for Podcasters.

Mountain Stage has produced over a thousand Shows over a period of over forty years. Each show has several Sets with each set performed by one or more Artists. The purpose of this archive is to provide an easy way to search the Shows, Sets and Artists of Mountain Stage. Secondarily, the archive provides the number of times named sets and artists have appeared on Mountain Stage, indications that a podcast is available for listed shows together with a link to the podcast, and an archive of the cities/states/countries where Mountain Stage Shows have taken place together with the number of Shows at each such city/state/country and a link to a listing of the Shows at each such city/state/country.

In this archive, Shows are identified by the date that, according to the Artist History, the show was actually performed. Sets are identified by the names used in the Artist History to identify the sets, although a few minor changes and corrections have been made to some of those names. For the most part, Artists, both individuals and groups/bands, are identified by names used in the Artist History. In many instances where only the last name of an individual is used in the Artist History, the first name is added for the purpose of identifying the individual artist. Special Note: At the current time, each set name is also considered to be an artist.

Using the Navigation menu at the top of each page of this archive, the following listings can be selected:

• Shows. All Shows listed in the Artist History are included and listed in reverse chronological order. The listing includes the date, location and Sets for each show. Any show for which a podcast is available is marked with **. Clicking on the date of a show will display additional detail for the show, including the approximate number of the show, the Artists appearing at the show, and a link to the podcast for the show if one is available.
• Sets. All Sets listed in the Artist History are listed in alphabetical order by the first word in the name of the set. If the first word is “The”, the listing is by the second word in the name of the set with “(The)” added at the end of the set name. The number of times a Set of the same name has performed on Mountain Stage is included in parentheses after the name of the Set. Clicking on a set name will display a listing of all of the Shows at which a Set of that name has been performed.
• Artists. All Artists identifiable from the Artist History are listed in alphabetical order by the first word in the name of the artist. If the Artist is an individual, the Artist is listed by first name. If the first word of an artist’s name is “The”, the listing is by the second word in the name of the artist with “(The)” added at the end of the artist’s name. The number of times each Artist has appeared on Mountain Stage is included in parentheses after the name of the Artist. Clicking on a set name will display a listing of all of the Shows at which that Artist has appeared. Special Note: Because, as noted above, each set name is also considered to be an artist, all Sets included in the Sets listing are also included in the Artists listing.
• Locations. A listing of all the cities/states/countries where a Mountain Stage show has taken place together with the number of times a show has taken place in that location. Clicking on a location will a display a listing of all of the shows that have taken place at that location.
